These are realistic market rates — not what anyone advertises, but what parents are actually paying:

Paying for a big name centre, not a good one Some of the most expensive tutorial centres in Lagos have the largest classrooms and the least individual attention. Your child is one of 60 students in a room. The teacher finishes the topic whether or not your child understood it.
Name and location do not equal quality. Ask about class sizes, tutor qualifications, and how they track individual progress.
Paying for multiple tutors with no coordination Some parents hire a different tutor for every subject — three tutors, three different approaches, no one tracking the overall picture. This creates confusion, not coverage.
Starting late and paying rush rates Parents who start preparation 4 weeks before JAMB end up paying premium prices for intensive cramming sessions that rarely work. Starting early costs less and works better.
